Course Overview

Bringing a new puppy home is exciting, right? Well, it can also be extremely overwhelming. Some only consider training to resolve a behavior issue that’s already going on but training your puppy early on will have a significant impact on how they behave as an adult. They will learn more efficiently, be less fearful and have a better overall quality of life.

Puppy Preschool will:

  • Prevent Bad Behaviors – Stop destructive behaviors before they arise

  • Begin Potty Training – Get your puppy on a successful potty schedule

  • Build Confidence – Set your puppy up to face the world and prepare them for the future

  • Help Communication Skills – Learn how to understand your puppy while improving your bond

  • Provide Mental Stimulation – Your puppy will feel mentally tired, fulfilled and ready for a nap

Course Details:

Preschool is for puppies 8-12 weeks old. This course will start your puppy off on the right paw, setting them up for the future, while harnessing some of that puppy energy. Topics covered in the course are:

  • Crate Training

  • Potty Training

  • Response to Name

  • Food & Body Handling

  • Impulse Control

  • Noise Aversion

  • Leash & Collar Introduction

  • Textures & Elevation

This is a 4 week course. Each lesson is 90 minutes long and on a weekly basis.

  • Vaccination Records

  • 4 Weeks Dedication to Training

  • Homework

  • Leash & Collar

  • Crate or Contained Area

  • House Access (While You’re Away)
